Research Interests
Through my work in clinical neurology, I’ve fostered a deep interest in the field of neurological disease, spanning from neurodegenerative disease to stroke and onwards.My main research interests are based around neurodegenerative diseases and how these alter both behaviour, cognition, and movement, as well as the mechanisms behind the disease.In my PhD project, I will be investigating the prodromal stages of Parkinson’s Disease via both ultra-high field MRI, EEG, behavioural testing and measures of autonomic dysfunction in an effort to characterize the prodromal parkinsonian state and improve both early detection of disease and understand the mechanisms of disease better.
